Franck Cengizalp from Paris, France, and has been training for over 50 years, and currently holds the rank of Iaido 5-Dan. 

Over the years, Franck has achieved the position of Champion and Vice-Champion of Europe and France on many occasions, as well as holds a responsibility as federal technical manager and national & International EKF referee.

In this wide-ranging conversation, we talk about the many people in the budo community who he sees as positive role models and the positive experiences and lessons from competition. We talk about the philosophy of budo practice, of character building, and spirituality, and the joy of seeing others grow in their own journeys.
