Unfortunately God knows our every motive, desires and ambitions. If we tend to follow Christ when things work out for our benefit, but vacillate and lie, cheat or deceive when they don’t work out the way we want, while inwardly we are saying, “God is not dependable”. This is a perfect set up for the emotionally unstable, undependable and self-centered person who has to fake his relationship with the Lord. God doesn’t help those who won’t listen to Him.
