The Tenth Sunday after Pentecost. 
How are we to understand the miracles of Jesus? With a rational approach that finds more believable explanations? With a literal approach that sees every word as fact? John’s Gospel calls the miracles signs, so maybe understanding them as something more symbolic can help us see the mystical side of what happened and give us an awe and reverence for the divine.
