Welcome to A BATTLE WITHIN, Episode 073, I'm Drew Niemann.

I will be joined by my wife Terry, the inspiration for the program and Liz Rohrer shortly.

A BATTLE WITHIN is about our life experiences and those of our guests living with and healing from Traumatic Brain Injuries with an emphasis on the Post Concussion Syndrome, otherwise known as (PCS) 

The conversations are real, raw and uncensored from both the warrior and caregiver perspectives.

It is our desire that this platform be a useful way to create awareness around the invisible injury. We aim to help those in the battle, whether that is you the warrior or you the caregiver. We do this by offering the stories and resources we have found along our own journey.

A little about Liz. This is a bit of a different conversation with Liz. She was the Occupational Therapist that worked with Terry after her last concussion.

When it comes to recovery and healing an OT isn't thought about all that often in the TBI world, but can be an intricate part of the process. 

Liz is clearly very passionate about what she does and it is evident throughout the conversation. She also offers many tidbits that might be helpful to you.  

In this episode Liz is also offering her own personal perspectives and what she passes along should not be considered medical advice.
