Our attempts at being and doing “good” are largely misguided. We often miss the point of our own existence by attempting to be good at the expense of labeling someone or something else as bad or less good. We cannot pursue “goodness” without the diminishment of another human being as not living up to our individual level of goodness, and so this in itself takes away from what being good is meant to embody in the first place. This episode explores the false idea of being “good” and why our efforts are better focused elsewhere if we are to truly be it.
