Join us for the next episode of the Our Daily Magic Podcast as "I am Magickai" aka Kaí and Dell Henderson aka The True Essence Connector will be interviewing Emily Shaules.
Emily is a Transformational Coach who works primarily with women with invisible illnesses. A former attorney, professional actor, and Founder/CEO, Emily went from being suicidal on 25 pills a day by the time she was 30, to thriving in her body, mind and spirit.
She utilizes Hermetic and Universal laws, as well as practical health and wellness knowledge, to help those who are sick of the struggle and want to design a dream life that honors their body and experience. Emily lives in Encinitas, CA and is obsessed with dogs and Schitt's Creek.
Kai starts the conversation with asking Emily on her health and wellness journey (7:34) where she shares that she was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia (08:52). She adds how she became interested with spiritual practices and ended up creating a support group for women having the same illness (9:39). They had a speaker who discussed raw foods which she tried and ended up feeling better after 5 days.
Dell is curious on what internal adjustments did she make to further help her physical healing (15:22) where Emily shares that she used to listen to Abraham Hicks. She further adds how creating a coaching program for women with invisible illnesses also helped her cope up with her own (19:22).
They then talk on how the world would try to convince us of its ways (21:42) where Emily suggests that it should be a buffet, where we can take and test everything offered.
Emily shares more of her 5-day healing journey where she revealed that she actually hates fruits and vegetables and was not expecting any results from the process (28:40). This later changed as she felt better after her detox. This change of heart led Dell to relate it to experience (33:50) where we sometimes cling to previous experiences, not embracing the new one where we could potentially learn. Emily agrees quoting a theory that we are addicted to certain emotional states and we usually tend to stay on these states regardless of the new experiences (34:30).
They then talk about being conditional on being who we are (45:06) which usually leads us to want to control everything around us to satisfy these conditions.
Listen to the whole episode as our hosts talk about Emily's journey of self- development, realizations, and experiences.
