Wow! I think it's safe for me to assume that we all would prefer to avoid making a mistake that ends up lasting for 18.5 years! A new study was just released in regards to "financial regrets" that older Americans have made. Although I've talked about this topic many times before, this new study (yet again) shows the importance of giving serious thought before taking action when it comes to this financial decision. Maybe you've already fallen  into this pit, and that's okay, but as a society we need to empower people with knowledge and information so that they don't repeat one of the most regretted money mistakes people make!
