078: Stop the Insanity

Listen Later

It’s time to stop the insanity and start protecting your peace. When we’re dealing with people who are on the opposite end of the spectrum from us, it can be very challenging. Endless debates about politics, social activism, and religion aren’t going to get the opposing person any closer to your viewpoints.

In today’s episode, I’m sharing why you shouldn’t try to sway people’s opinions on these hard-hitting topics.

I’ll be touching on how we got here as a society plus what we can proactively do to get through it, instead of arguing with our coworkers, family, etc.

When you refrain from subjecting yourself to these volatile conversations and instead shift your energy to the one job you have for being here in your “earth suit”, you’ll find a lot more peace and a lot less stress.

What’s in this episode:

The layers of being in community with people of opposing beliefs

How to deal with your own reflection on other people’s opinions

The one job you have on this earth

Why you shouldn’t seek revenge

How the food we eat keeps us controllable

Why you should avoid judgment of others
