• Don’t take the broadcast approach.
• Determine which approach is right for each person:
• Peer-to-peer approach is simply sharing what you’ve been up to, providing some value, and asking how they’re handling everything.
• An expert approach is when you want to seek guidance or expertise while still giving an update.
• The mentor approach is a cycle where you reconnect with someone who has helped you before and update them on how it went and how they can help again. 
• Start with peer-to-peer outreach as the lowest hanging fruit since your strong network gives you the most results with the least effort.
