You have heard it said that we always should consider ourselves servants, not lords in this life. Romans 6:16-22 takes it deeper: we always are servants or slaves in this life, and the only question is whether we're slaves to sin, or slaves to God! Our free will is just our "Yes/No Will Switch" that sends us down the engulfing rapids of righteousness in Christ, or sin and death.
