You ever do that thing where you take your GameBoy outside when your parents kicked you out of the house during the summer? I know I sure did.
It’s a bit of a stretch, but this week’s episode reminded me of those days, where your folks were trying to make you a more well-rounded young person by making you go experience a world not bound to a screen. Or maybe they just wanted a couple of minutes away from their damn kids.
Either way! Zac lays down the groundwork for the pod’s new Aquatic Update segment, in which he details the goings-on of his new invertebrate roommates. Mike takes us on a TV tour of Adventure Time, Cowboy Bebop, and the competition developing within the Formula One season.
Somehow, we were in fact able to restrain ourselves and not sneak out the proverbial GameBoy, though our audience may not be so lucky next time around.
