Lumine Lin is the CEO and Founder of a hedge fund called Half Moon Capital. Currently he is also developing a trading application for his trading activities and strategies Before that he was a stock trader, but originally he had an art background! By applying art to finance, he was able to “find his own edge”, in his own words. He now creates art with the newest tools in AI, which complements what he does in his day to day, which is highly logical and reason-based work.
Lumine believes that the education you get doesn't have to be the place you end up in. Rather, it can complement you in the areas you really want to go into. Without his art background, he says, he wouldn't have been able to do the things he's been able to do. Now, he's found his purpose.
