The program was designed and aimed in making it easier for first-time home buyers to buy their first home by lowering monthly mortgage payments.

But in reality it is not realistic to those looking to buy a home in Vancouver, GTA, or even the Peel Region and Halton Hills. 

Also the fact is that this program is a joint home ownership program with the government and the home buyer.
