Join us for the next episode of the Our Daily Magic Podcast as "I am Magickai" aka Kaí and Dell Henderson aka The True Essence Connector will be interviewing Steve Bacon.
His mission is to help black people rediscover their power so that they can show the world how to love and lead the world to peace. He truly believes that we do not need a savior. We only need to recognize that we are our own saviors individually and collectively. He is only interested in teaching black people about themselves, in being how powerful they are as human beings first, and in the essence of who they are.
Our true selves are far greater than our culture because when we recognize our own greatness, we will change and so will the culture. Right now, it is our culture that's keeping us from seeing how powerful we actually are. We have become more committed to our culture than we are to our evolution.
Steve’s personal experiences, proven case studies, dynamic energy, and passionate comedic delivery have made him an in-demand behavioral coach.
Dell started the conversation by asking the question what is the essence of the Black Community (7:26) where Steve focused more on the individual, the "I Am" essence. He further elaborated, likening our essence to writing a thesis, where the "Who am I?" is the main problem.
Dell was then curious as to how did he discover and made aware of his own essence (11:41), where he shared his experiences up to the point of where he is now. He shares how he dealt with his childhood trauma, abandonment, and anger issues.
Kai wants to know why did he choose the black community (25:11) where he goes on about being the change we want to see in the world. and he feels like he can make a big impact to where he has the most influence ( 27:51). He further shares that we can't harbor resentment while building at the same time.
He then quoted "Oppression is the biggest compliment you ever receive" (33:26) where he proceeds to explain that the job of the oppressors is to maintain ignorance.
Dell asks what are his thoughts about the internal racism going on, on black turning against black (38:59) where he simply answered that it was all just conditioning, with the emphasis on the term race and whitewashing.
Kai was curious as to where does Steve speaks from, with such articulation, and emotion (45:26). He simply answered absolute love and what sets us apart from the animals is our cognitive ability, quoting Psalms that "we are gods". This allows us to have free will and sovereignty. This allows us to be the creator and sovereign ruler of our own reality.
