David the Psalmist sings praises to the Lord for how HIS perfect word is audible to everyone. The glory of God is seen in creation, the holy scripture, and through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. This psalm sings praises to God for HIS law. For the right-minded in Christ, the law is joyful. For the opponent to God, the law is terrifying. The law of the Lord is perfect, bringing wisdom to the simple, wisdom which leads to understanding salvation through Jesus Christ.
