Notes:- The end is coming; the Church's concern should be the gospel only- We have turned church life into a weekend celebration; Sunday School, baptism deemphasized- The Church is a lifestyle, a mission, requires sacrifice, a cost- Give testimony, worship, pray- Any called preacher must decide to tell the people what they want to hear or what God instructs- In a church, one's heart must be examined, urged to repentance- Jesus died to bring us to God, not to give great earthly blessing- The benefits should not outweigh the sacrifice- You cannot build a ministry on the abundant life, healing…- Everyone gets the chance to hear the truth: Enoch, Methuselah- Judgement is coming- Baptism can not save; one must be saved first, but Jesus told us to be baptized, therefore we should be- Do you have a good conscience toward God?
