What do we do with a God that we know can and doesn't always do it?
Why did Jesus not do miracles?
1. Jesus refused to perform miracles to prove himself.
11 The Pharisees came and began to argue with him, seeking from him a sign from heaven to test him. 12 And he sighed deeply in his spirit and said, “Why does this generation seek a sign? Truly, I say to you, no sign will be given to this generation.”
Mark 8:11-12
2. Jesus never performed a miracle that interfered with God's ultimate plan.
53 Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels? 54 But how then should the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must be so?”
Matthew 26:53-54
3. Jesus didn't do miracles where there was no faith.
58 And he did not do many mighty works there, because of their unbelief.
Matthew 13:58

34 And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease.”
Mark 5:34
52 And Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him on the way.
Mark 10:52
24 Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, “I believe; help my unbelief!”
