This week kicks off a monthly review of our live recording archive from Hal & Al’s. Here, we dig into the July 2009 vault. The show starts with pop selections from Kenny including great tracks from The The, Emilie Simon, and Cicada. Next Joseph moves deeper in the mix with hip-hop and dubstep from Flying Lotus, Ras G, and Pinch. My selection of ambient and experimental songwriting finishes the show with new stuff from DJ Food, Deradoorian and Bibio.
