This week our question comes in from Zola.
She wants to know: What are the best non-paid resources to get traffic to my website?
I get asked this question all the time, and my answer for how to increase organic traffic to your website is: SEO.
There are two huge reason for this. First, it's not paid. So you're not paying for ads on Facebook or YouTube. And it's not social media, which requires a lot of time and energy every day in order to generate what may be actually a very small amount of traffic.
In this episode, we take Zola's great question and dive into the basics of SEO for generating organic traffic to your website: what it is, what you need to do to make the most of it, how to approach a strategy, and where you can go to learn more and become a total SEO master.
Plus, I go over the key differences between social media and SEO organic traffic — and why I think one of them is far and away your best choice.
