I want to talk about Dave Ramsey's Baby Step 2 - Pay Off All Non-Mortgage Debt in this episode (so yes, we are doing a series now).

Dave Ramey’s whole platform is to build wealth because building wealth allows you to have control of you time and money, which will let you live the life you want to live rather than the life you are handed.

Debt is an obligation that requires one party, the debtor, to pay money or other agreed-upon value to another party, the creditor. Debt is a deferred payment, or series of payments, which differentiates it from an immediate purchase.

Do you really want to owe someone else money for X years just because it is a low interest rate? Or for the tax break? Or because you can invest and earn the difference?

Debt is debt is debt is debt.
