When I seek for peace, I look within myself first.

When there are problems in relationships—whether those relationships be business, romantic, familial, or with ourselves—it can be easy to look at what others are doing to take our peace away from us.  But if you heard what I just said, I said what they TAKE AWAY from us.  No one can take anything away from us without our consent, so to have peace in our lives is to know we possess it within every moment.  If it is taken from us, it is because we have given it away.  Yes, people will annoy us or not be out for our best interests, but that is where we must come to a higher realization.  We must be willing and able to say that they are unaware of what they are doing and that their wars they wage have nothing to do with me, but the peace they have given away themselves.  I will not war with others—I will wage harmony and love by keeping my peace within me to share willingly and not letting others take it away from me.
