Pat and Bo talk about money and what Bo likes to spend his on. Bo is 6 so its all about candy and toys.
That makes sense to me cause I was like that too. But at the same time Bo understands that if he spends his money he wont have any money. And he likes his money. 
So for Bo he will continue spending mom and dads money cause that is a lot easier and fun.
