Sometimes it is the right time to cut your losses and move on. Technology keeps moving forward and we need to keep up with it. We need to exceed our clients' expectations and we also need to invest in software that will help us be more efficient in our processes and serve more elegantly.
What we need to consider most is our motivation for staying or changing. Are you wanting a new technology without a purpose just because it is new, there's a lung going on, the doors are closing soon or it's running at half-price?
On the other hand, are we staying with a software or business system out of fear, because you would rather invest that money into your self, because you're overwhelmed, because we've never done it that way before?
Know your motives and do the best possible job you can assessing your organization's needs without the emotion holding you to the old or posing you into the new.
