Jaycie Johnson joins the podcast telling us all about her scar stories. Jaycie starts with what she remembers about her youth career and when she fell in love with the game. We go through her soccer career from club soccer to the University of Nebraska to being drafted into NWSL as a professional. Jaycie and I have a lot in common, both having torn our ACL three times, we connect over the common things we have learned through the process. Learning to have patience, to slow down, and to find strength, both for mind and body, in our recovery.
