089: It’s OK to be WAY TOO EARLY
To get ahead in business, there are 3 core things that will put you ahead of most other companies out there:
- Do exactly what you say you're going to do.
- Call on time.
- Show up on time.
Of course by "On time" I mean early. Way too early. But here's the thing- This is such an easy way to get ahead because your competition is not doing it. We get feedback from our clients who say they love us because we are on time, all the time. That's all we need to do to keep customers happy? Man, that bar is set LOW. I recommend you do the same when you're considering business decisions, career decisions, and marketing decisions. Don't be late and don't make excuses. Do that, and one of my companies will be kicking on your heels and eating your lunch.
