Welcome to Scaffolds Podcast, a weekly roundup of the timely updates on insect and disease management as well as phenological developments across New York State for apple growers.

This week we are joined by Monique Rivera, assistant professor of entomology at Cornell AgriTech; Kerik Cox, associate professor of plant pathology; and Anna Wallis, Fruit IPM Coordinator.

In this episode, Monique overviews some considerations for petal fall applications. Kerik brings us pt. 3 of his fireblight management recommendations, this time focused on nursery management. Anna gives the State of the State Update on regional developments in degree day accumulation, phenology, and pest captures from around the state. Recorded May 24 (Kerik and Monique) and May 26 (Anna), and released May 26, 2023.
