Dear GUAVABEAN, one of my clients - with whom I have a great relationship and enjoy working - is super disorganised. He is paying me good money for my services, but in order for me to do my job properly, there are things I need from him... but he never delivers. He keeps saying, next week, or next month, or that he is about to hire someone to do that. This means I cannot possibly grow his business in the way that I am being paid to. I have expressed this concern with him and he completely understands and has told me he knows it his fault and that he is holding me back, and then he tells me again that he will "do it next week, or next month, or that he is about to hire someone to do that, any minute now". The problem is that firstly I feel uncomfortable taking his money when I cannot do the job completely, but it's also making the work a little dull for me, because there is no progression or growth - it's just the same every month. What would you do?
