Kiana’s Golden Phrases:
I had decided the only way to help women not be the type of woman I had become, I had to make sure teenage girls were not the type of teenager girl I was.
When you go through something that changings your life, perspective, or gives you an Aha moment, there’s something about those moments that triggers that gut feeling inside of you. It will either make you stand up for what you believe or it will make you coward down to what you don’t believe.
Intentional parenting is about making sure that the world that your children know is recognizable to them.
Leading with integrity really makes a difference in how we communicate with our kids.
We tell our children to reach for the sky but then we put a ceiling on top of them and never let them see that the sky is out there; so as a result we end up having is a bunch of eagles with a chicken mentality.
