Aaron Johnson, Director of Montgomery County Animal Services, talked with me about how important transport to rescue, fostering and adopting is on the daily for southern shelters, but most importantly at this critical time in history. Aaron and his team were recognized by the Petco Foundation with the 2019 Lifesaving Impact Award and he is a founder of the Progressive Animal Collaboration Team that brings together regional partner for lifesaving in the Houston Region.
