090 - Goals Are For Losers, Systems Are For Winners
This is the ONE word that can be killing your business…
And, there's one simple one for you to make sure that you don't fall into the abyss that it sucks you into.
See, whenever I'm talking to trainers or coaches, I DON'T ASK THEM…
"What are your goals..?"
WHY?
Because, I too often hear the ask start with. "Well, realistically…."
That's when I have to jump in and interrupt them.
And, I ask them back… "What does realistic mean to you?"
It's a word that limits your success, ability to impact and quality of your life… and it all stems from your own self limiting beliefs.
This is why I'm such a big believer that you need to surround yourself with people that will help you level up.
This doesn't mean that they are just cheerleaders. Jumping up and down giving you presses for anything. A true tribe will kick you uno the arse when you need it to.
They'll give you a shoulder to cry on.
Or, they'll give you a high five and a chest-bump when you achieve your goals (even the small ones).
This is why I now ask a different question…
"If I wave my magic wand, what will your business and life look like in 12-months from now?"
This automatically gets you to drop your "realistic" beliefs… and helps you truly open up.
But, more importantly. If you invest in surrounding yourself with better quality people. There's a good chance you'll achieve more ;)
So, who do you need to surround yourself with…?
