Shanthi discusses how to help children reach and maintain a healthy weight, in light of National Childhood Obesity Month. She cited a recent study that found children consume more ultra-processed foods than adults. She suggested parents model healthy eating habits, stock their pantries with whole grains and fresh produce, and allow kids to choose healthy foods they enjoy.
