Notes:- The Lord's return should be priority in our thoughts- People elsewhere are suffering for Christ; we don't have problems- We have too much to do and no real desire for Jesus- A sense of delay in His coming causes carnal living- Parable of the fig tree: be aware of the times- The second coming can be calculated but the rapture cannot- Jesus saves you to wait for Him, then you will pray, seek, become conscientious about the way you live- It's easy to get sloppy (story of messy hotel room)- Parable of the ten virgins- Unconditional eternal security without a holy life- We don't have godly fear
