My name is Karim Amri, and this is the coaching secrets podcast.Do they? I was interviewing one of our speakers for the coaching startup summit. And the topic was about the use of YouTube for coaches. And to be Frank, I want to share with you this, this information, because it’s, it was like eye-opening for me.
I was actually, I’m not the kind of person who is very, uh, in like into YouTube. I actually, I just watch videos on YouTube, but I never being like me, but active to, Oh, to make like a channel real channel and start posting consistently on YouTube. And what she shared get in today was, was, was really eye-opening.
In fact, so many of us think of YouTube as only a kind of social media place where we watch videos. But the reality is that, uh, YouTube is the second biggest search engine after Google. And this is, this is, uh, eye-opening information in the sense that YouTube deals as a search engine.
Speaker 0 00:01:41 So it’s, it’s a great place to consider using the SEO concept, the search engine optimization concept. So as coaches, whether we have our blogs or whether we have our podcasts, this is great, this is, this is good. And this is good like, um, uh, area and, uh, good. Um, how can I say good?
Um, uh, not the concept, but, uh, I, I can’t find the word, like a good, a good way, like to generate leads and to, to create like an audience and to work on to our email list and create a list. But YouTube, it’s still very powerful in the sense that like with just five minutes or 10 minutes videos, we are able to be available for millions and millions. As we said, now, YouTube is a search engine optimization.
So people there, when they are in need to look for something they’re going to look for in YouTube. So it’s for us as coaches, it’s a great opportunity and a great place where we can share part of what we are teaching and part of what we are learning and teaching to others, whether related to the coaching itself or related to our niche or related to some of the topics that we find ourselves like having good expertise in it.
So you do it’s um, it’s, it’s the second, Most the second biggest search engine on the internet. So, uh, we need to get benefit of YouTube. And if are having a podcast, for example, we can select the most powerful episode on the webcast and the podcast, and like make of it a video.
One of the answers, uh, I get it in from one of my mentors before, and he advised that whenever we are doing something and whether blog podcasts, or like small video and YouTube or post in Facebook, and we found that people there’s, a lot of people are interacting in it.
So it’s a good scientist to think seriously, to create a good video, juicy one and post it like on our YouTube channel, because this means if there’s a good interaction on the video that you are posting in, in, in our bird-like blogs or in our social media, it means that people are interested with this topic.
