091: Jessica Numbers of Jessica N Designs
Jessica is the owner & designer of jessicaNdesigns. She is married to Brooks, her HS sweetheart and they are raising our 3 children where they grew up, a small town in Ohio.
Since 2010 Jessica has been creating hand stamped goodness of all kinds in her Ohio studio ranging from our best selling coffee spoons & wedding keepsakes to personalized jewelry. What started out as a hobby has quickly become a successful, full time business! Jessica has always loved creating, as a child it was her desire to run a creative business. After her first 2 children were born, Jessica taught herself how to make jewelry and hand stamped silverware in hopes of one day being able to stay home full time with them.
Jessica's love of coffee paired with her quirky personality make her coffee spoons one of her favorite things to create! When she is brewing her third (or fourth) cup of coffee the caffeine fueled ideas start flowing & her newest designs are created!
We had an absolute blast chatting with Jessica, so much laughing and goodness was shared!

First up we ask Jessica what success is for her:
"being able to actually make a living doing something that you are really passionate about and that you really love doing and that you feel fulfilled ... which is so different than what I thought."
Jessica shares with us about how her family had their own definition/version of what success was for Jessica. She shares about her 8 years in the insurance business before she pursued owning her own business as well as when her definition of success shifted.
"when I went out on a limb and just tried this and realized that I can in fact make a living by doing something that I love... literally something ignited in me."
We loved hearing Jessica talk about this fire that ignited in her!
