What does having a call on your life look like? The simple answer to this question is to follow our discussion with Steve Rembert. Steve took us on a phone both ride as he shared his journey to Christ.  

                                                                                        

• Grew up around a lot of negative influences
  • Dad and cousin were a drug dealers
  • Exposed prostitution and pornography
  • His cousin was a thief
  
  
• Dad read the word of God to him
  • Steve’s dad read the Psalms and Proverbs to him as a child
  • His grandmother, mother did their best to plant the word of God in him
  • His heart the soil was receptive to the seed/Word of God
  
  
• Reping the neighborhood
  • Fighting for the neighborhood and protecting it
  • Feuds followed him in elementary, middle and high school
  • Caught a burglary charge at nine
  
  
• Getting in the drug game
  • Selling drugs at 16
  
  
•  Getting into the body
  • He made a continuous decision to stop selling dope
  • Steve understood he could not walk this journey alone
  • He had to isolate himself from those who brought negativity

• Hear: Romans 10:17
• Believe: Hebrews 11:6
• Repent: Acts 17:30-31
• Confess: Matthew 10:32
• Be Baptized: Mark 16:15-16

Be faithful unto death: Revelation 2:10
