CBQ: What's the WORST piece of advice you have listened to?

A boss can only take you where they've been and listening to their advice can actually be worse for YOU. It may not be bad advice, but it's not what you specifically need. As a leader, think beyond the role you're training them for and be aware of the limits your words can project onto others.
