Fazal is the co-founder and CEO at Phaseshift Technologies – a Toronto based startup aimed at developing novel and high-performance alloys using Artificial Intelligence and Computational Chemistry simulations to model material properties. Fazal is a first-gen immigrant from India and moved to Canada in 2014 to obtain a degree in Physics from the University of Toronto, where he met his two other co-founders who are currently PhD students in Materials Science. After graduating in 2018, and with the support of Creative Destruction Lab at the Rotman School of Management, Fazal co-founded Phaseshift in 2019.
