1923, a Yellowstone origin story, introduces a new generation of the Dutton family as they explore the early twentieth century in the mountain west. This week Alex and Jerry recap all the storylines from both episode 1 & 2 starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren.

In episode 1 Jacob played by Harrison Ford quashes a dispute between cattle ranchers and sheepherders. Cara played by Helen Mirren informs Liz of the sacrifices of marrying into the Dutton family. Meanwhile, another Dutton finds himself far from home.

In episode 2 Jacob and the Yellowstone cowboys save one of their own before deciding their next move. Teonna continues to endure at the hands of Sister Mary. Cara and Emma discuss Elizabeth and Jack. Alexandra makes a bold decision.
