Our premier episode features a true pioneer for women and manufacturing. Anna Hess is one of the original “Rosie the Riveters” – women who took to the factories during World War 2 in jobs that were traditionally held by men. With most of the workforce off to war, women like Anna played a crucial role in the war effort by working factory jobs manufacturing the machines that would ultimately achieve victory.
