Steve Schultz is a career Battalion Chief with Frederick County MD Fire & Rescue. He has over 35 years in the fire service, the last 24 with Frederick County. He rose through the ranks from a Firefighter to Battalion Chief and has also served as a paramedic and on the department's Hazmat team. He is also a certified Maryland State Fire Instructor. In this episode, he walks us through an incident that occurred on March 22, 2002 where himself and 3 other firefighters were caught in a flashover.
