* Israelites of old had first-hand experience with God and His man, Moses.
* Paul says they were “baptized” into Moses, which meant they had experience with him.
* Baptism means to “be immersed.”
* When you’re physically baptized you’re dunked in water, so the water touches every part of you.
* To be immersed in the Holy Spirit means God touches every part of you.
* Baptism isn’t a one-time event, but a continual process where we’re immersed in the Holy Spirit.
* When we have experience like this with God we see His presence with us (the cloud) and his power working through us (the sea).
* When Jesus tells us to baptize the nations we need to know it means to not only help people get saved but to immerse them into the Christian life so they’re experiencing God on a regular basis.
* This is “living your baptism.”
