* God doesn’t tempt you - He allows you to be tempted.

* Why? I believe it’s because victory over temptation proves your love for Him.

* If we had no other option but to love Him then that’s not really love.

* Satan provides the way of temptation. It leads to death.

* God provides the way of escape. It leads to life.

* Jesus says, “I am the way!”

* The way you take reveals the devotion of your heart.

* Here’s how to fight it:

* When temptation comes, don’t try to resist. Flee from it!

* We are to resist the devil, but flee temptation.

* Every time there’s a temptation God provides an escape route.

* But we don’t know where that is, so Jesus stands by it and waves - “hey, follow me! It’s over here!”

* But here’s the key - you have to be looking for Him when the temptation comes.

* He will lead you to victory but you have to want it first.
