Paul's turns his focus to the leadership of the church; those who teach and preach the Word. This passage is often used to portray carnal believers whose works are burned at the judgment seat of Christ; however, the context of these verses do not support this view. Instead, Paul is warning the Corinthians to ensure that their teaching and leadership is built on the foundation of Christ.
