With as many challenges as the church in Corinth had, Paul called them saints. And because they were saints, because of the Cross and the Spirit, they were capable to judge amongst themselves. Their capability came from their identity, those who were washed, those who were sanctified, and those who are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
