There isn’t a person or family unaffected by cancer. The dreaded disease doesn’t discriminate, but there are some cancer-promoting behaviors one can avoid. This is why the desire for knowledge about how diet can contribute to or prevent cancer, is so high. As we know by now, with a public appetite for health, comes misinformation. On this episode I am joined by Dr. Joe Zundell, who is a cancer researcher and scientist.  Dr. Joe Zundell is a Ph.D scientist with 10 years of experience in cell and molecular biology techniques. He is passionate about simplifying cancer biology for the public and combating cancer misinformation. We discuss what cancer is, how it grows, and debunk some cancer nutrition myths.

 

On this episode, my guest Dr. Joe Zundell talks all things cancer and nutrition - what’s proven, distinguishing correlation vs. causation of cancers with certain foods, and addresses the link between clinical obesity and cancer. We cover exacerbating nutritional factors and address myths and misinformation around diet and cancer.
