This is possibly the most important question an athlete can ask, because it forms the basis of an athlete’s diet. It supports body function , determine the amounts and ratios of macro nutrients (fat, protein and carbohydrate) and the amount of micro nutrients (vitamins and minerals) you can take in every day.
