When we are overwhelmed, most of us tend to speed up. We tend to stay stuck in the pattern - To DO more, or to freeze up and do nothing at all. To isolate or to overwhelm.
But both of these are the same, in that you're stuck in it. Stuck in your adaptive child.
When what we really need, is to slow down and to notice whats there. And allow it to be there, to feel it, and to have enough safety to hold space for it.
From there, energy is increased to do and be- with presence. And to be attuned to our needs and life.
