Emergency managers have enough to do on a day-to-day basis, but when a major emergency or disaster happens, the job gets much more complex. Disaster Cost Recovery is a phrase most often used to describe efforts by local, state and certain non-profit organizations to obtain post-disaster grants to reimburse their response costs and repair damage. Jerry has worked as an advocate for sub-recipients (organizations that seek-out these grants) for almost 30 years.  He sat down with us and discussed what effective disaster cost recovery is all about.
