This weekend we continue in our series called, HEALTHY HEARTS - Experience the God who heals us. From time to time it’s a good idea to have a heart check up. Our hearts require maintenance just like our bodies do. I’m wondering as your pastor, how is your heart? The Bible speaks a great deal about the condition of our hearts.
Proverbs 4:23 says this, “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.” Healthy hearts are able to engage the difficult but very healing, process of restoring relationships. This weekend we will engage the letter of Paul to Philemon who was a leader in the church in Colossae. Philemon had lost a slave named Onesimus, he likely ran away. He was not a good employee and had failed Philemon. Paul had ran into Onesimus likely in Rome. He had led him to Jesus and helped disciple him into a productive person. Paul writes to ask Philemon to take Onesimus back and forgive him.
Join us as we explore a story of restoration and forgiveness.
