I've spent much of my life feeling beat up by fundamentalist religion and punitive ideas of God. But now, I'm walking the Christian Mystical Contemplative path—a journey that embraces God's love and inclusion for people of all traditions, whether theistic or non-theistic. This path is often called the perennial or wisdom tradition.

I'm not a teacher or a preacher. In fact, I have more questions than answers. But somewhere along the way, I was ambushed by the Loving Affection of God—an experience that changed everything.

So I offer these reflections—not polished or pious, but honest and sometimes crass—with the hope that they help you feel a little less alone. And maybe, just maybe, they’ll remind you that God—however you name or imagine the Divine—is already within you, wildly in love with you, and never letting go.
